8-22-10 - Gary Ezmerlian - Process or Short-cut: Of Which Spirit Are You?

God is a loving Father, and it is important for us to learn to relate to Him as that. No performance is required to gain His love or acceptance. However, as we struggle along the journey of life, the enemy loves to put pressure on us to get it right. God says, “I’ve made you right – take My hand and walk with Me.” Many times we miss God’s plan because of wrong expectations about what we think God expects of us! Though we should always expect God to move on our behalf, improper expectations are rooted in fear which lead to disappointment, causing us to either be offended, or to become more religious. The Father sent the Son to us clothed in humanity to demonstrate how to live as a man in right relationship with the Father Who was led by the Spirit. This is a condition of the heart that comes through intimacy. Taking small steps and inquiring of Him about how to walk with Him one day at a time will keep us in the process and lead us to victory!
