Steve and his wife Marci have been the senior leaders of Convergence Church since 1990. Steve’s heart is to see Convergence continue to become an apostolic center that will be a place of refuge, training and release for many to conquer the nations of the earth with the goodness and love of God. 

He has a passion for the presence of the Lord and a breakthrough anointing to lead individuals and churches into life changing encounters with God. 
He desires to see people equipped and empowered to move forward in their destiny and calling and to see them connected in community, pursuing God with all their hearts, strategically engaged in the kingdom of God, and walking in honor and love. 

Steve has an apostolic calling to work with leaders locally and around the world, bringing practical revelation and powerful impartation that enables kingdom advancement.   He loves to flow in the prophetic and has a passion to see the entire church loosed do the same.   He considers himself incredibly blessed to be serving the Lord alongside his wife Marci, their four children and the amazing people of Convergence.

Marci has been serving alongside Steve in many capacities at Convergence since February 1990.  She joined our pastoral staff in June of 2008.  She serves in the areas of missions, prophetic, teaching, preaching, building infrastructure, building an apostolic network,  Convergence School leadership, and general oversight.

Marci’s mission statement is to love God and express His love as much as is possible for her in her lifetime.  She believes that knowing and receiving the perfect love of God will set us free to live in our true identity and pursue our destinies.  She desires to see people equipped and empowered to move forward in their destiny and calling for each season, and to see people connected in a prophetic, kingdom of God minded community full of honor and love.  She is passionate about the presence of God, missions and unreached people.

Tom Dermott

Transformations Ministry

Tom joined the staff at Convergence Church in 1997. He oversees the Transformations Ministry and many of the other support ministries of the church. He also serves as an Elder. He and his wife, Wendy Ann, have seven sons: Kalen, Josh, David, Micah, Jon, Jacob, and Judah.

Tom has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University, as well as a Master of Divinity and Master of Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tom has a passion for the brokenhearted to be healed, whole and moving forward in the discovering and fulfilling of their destiny and purpose. “I love to challenge people to step into greatness, whatever that looks like for them.” Tom is always looking for creative, innovative, unreligious ways to extend God’s love, grace, and mercy to a hurting world and church. He loves equipping /training leaders and others to do the same.

Gary Galloway

Family Ministries

Gary has been an elder and pastor at Convergence for eight years.  He and his wife Joquetta, lead marriage groups and provide pre-marital and marriage counseling. Gary is also involved with individual counseling and is available for short term crisis counseling. Gary contacts all visitors and supervises visitation and contact with members who have been hospitalized. He oversees weddings and funerals and provides pastoral oversight for all prayer groups at Convergence. Benevolence requests and needs is another area of oversight.  This year he and Joquetta have led student “Revivalist and Student Leader Groups” in our Convergence School of Supernatural Ministry.

Gary is a spiritual father who pastors with a gift of grace, gentleness and comfort.  The Lord often enables him to minister peace, encouragement and hope to those who are in a difficult place emotionally or spiritually. His deepest spiritual cry is that the Lord’s heart of “Perfect Love” would beat in him and that he would be a vehicle of that love to all whom the Lord would send his way. He loves to write, travel and adventure into new areas. Last summer he and Joquetta rode motorcycles and ministered to bikers at the huge rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. He wants to be growing until his last breath and to hear one day those words, “Well done, good and faithful servant”.

Rick has been a part of Convergence Church for more that 3 decades and has served the body at in many capacities throughout the years. Strategic implementation of vision is what Rick is all about.  Some of the words people at Convergence use to describe him are relational, foundational and inspirational.  Rick loves working with and networking people to move them toward their destiny. 

He is gifted with an ability to establish innovative practical solutions and structures in the church with the faith and tenacity to complete the job, do it right, and enable growth in a healthy way.   Rick has an amazing capacity to help people believe in their abilities and reach farther in their giftings. Creating formats for other to operate in their kingdom calling completes the picture of what Rick brings to the table of the Lord here at Convergence Church.   

Mark Snider

Mark has been a part of the Convergence staff since 2004.  Mark has a breaker anointing and is called to release the glory and manifest presence of God as he leads worship.  He is anointed to release prophetic worship that shifts the atmosphere and allows for the leading of the Holy Spirit to be central.  He has traveled through parts of this nation and in other nations leading worship and teaching on the Kingdom of God. 

One of his unique giftings and passions is to give what the Lord has given him to others who have a leadership anointing so they can be released into their calling also.  He has an incredible wife and three children who are all passionate for the Lord.  He enjoys playing sports, writing songs, playing chess, and laughing with his children.

Chris White

Apex: Young Adults

Chris joined Convergence staff in February 2009. He is pastoring over our Young Adults group called Apex and works closely with his wife Amber who is the Youth pastor. His heart is all about living out of authentic community as a representation of worship.

Chris lives for breaking stereotypes and encourages creativity in ministry. The joy of the Lord is at the core of his being and this is what drives Chris to run the race with reckless abandon and a smile on his face.

Amber White

Amber joined the Convergence team in June of 2008. She and her husband Chris were married in Kenya, Africa in June of 2007. The two of them lead the weekly youth service Fuse on Wednesday nights for junior high and high school students. She has been serving in youth ministry for over 8 years. Her passion is to see young people being fully counted in to the purposes of God in their lives and then mobilized to change the world around them. Her friends and family describe her as faithful, trustworthy, adventurous and passionate. She also has a love for the nations specifically Africa.

This year she and Chris will be taking a team of our youth to Kenya to host a youth conference for over 500 teenagers. When Amber is not working with our youth she is volunteering as a CASA Volunteer Advocate for children in the foster system.

To be an instrument to equip young people to live passionately for God. To
minister healing to broken lives and relationships. To build strong lives and teach students to fulfill their callings. 

Misty Hanson

Misty has worked for Convergence Church since Summer 1998. She oversees the offerings, office flow and communications, building use, database and network to name just a few things.  Misty has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology (emphasis in Botany & Ecology) and Religion Studies.  Both of her degree fields speaks to her interest in life and all its aspects.  She truly considers her work here as her dream job – fulfilling part of her heart’s desire to serve the Bride of Christ.

Susan joined the Convergence team in January 2008.  She and her family were divinely planted here by the Lord after looking in 41 states for what in her words is, “the best church on the face of the earth!”   Susan’s joyful demeanor and peaceful spirit, coupled with her passion for the Kingdom, has been a welcome addition during this hectic season of growth and expansion.  She brought to the table high level administrative and people skills.  Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies and Business Management from the prestigious, historic Washington College.  She is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Christian Leadership University.
 
Susan’s job includes a vast array of administrative duties along with building the infrastructure needed to assist our many ministries within Convergence to grow and thrive during this time of Kingdom expansion.  Her heart is to see every person in the body fulfilling their personal passions and destinies, while the corporate body accomplishes its Kingdom vision and achieves its mission of building an apostolic community.

Her personal mission is:  to preach, teach, write, implement vision, and bringing healing at many levels for the purpose of seeing the Body united, the nations saved, and the Kingdom on earth prepared for its King.
